The following Thursday I went out for an event at the Allerton Hotel on Michigan Avenue. It was nice seeing my friends for a bit. They were introducing other hotels in the company throughout the country and were giving away raffles for a free stay. Unfortunately I did not win but it was a fun time anyways. The grand prize was a 5 night stay in Paris! Oh well. Better luck next time…
I stayed in that upcoming weekend. I went over my mom’s on Saturday to drop off the postcards I got for her on my trip. Luckily my uncle was over too and we all had dinner. It was nice sharing my experiences with them. My mom loved the gifts.
